Born in N’Djamena, Carine Mbaïgoto embodies excellence and determination in business. Her career, as both an entrepreneur and a senior executive, reflects her entrepreneurial spirit, perseverance and leadership.
An international education
After her baccalaureate she moved to Dallas, in the United States, where she earned an Associate of Applied Science and then a bachelor’s degree in administration and management. She is now completing an MBA in international business at Fort Hays State University.
A rich career
She has worked as a tax preparer at B&C Tax Services and as business developer and executive assistant for CK 1st Construction Company in the US, business developer for GTI Group TCA International in Nigeria and Chad, and Africa business developer for VPower, a listed Hong Kong energy group.
She founded her own strategy and business development firm, CC&M, advising many companies — including Griffiths, Metro Mangara and Petra BV — as well as Niger’s High Commission for Investment, where she played a key role in creating ANPIPS. For several years she organised the CIOME international conference (Chad International Oil Mining Energy), bringing together players from the mining, energy and oil sectors.
She is now managing director of Enerso Chad, an energy company. She speaks French, English and Portuguese.
Personal projects
She launched Carisma Hair, a hair brand sold through the “Carisma Boutique et Gallery” concept store, where products meet art. She also co-founded the classified-ads paper Liguita, a communication and advertising platform in the region until the Covid-19 period.
Often preferring to stay out of the spotlight, Carine Mbaïgoto shows that success and impact can be achieved while staying true to one’s values.
