The 2025 Finance Act brings major changes across several economic sectors, with a direct impact on companies’ tax strategies. These reforms were analysed during training workshops organised by Ernst & Young (EY) to help business leaders, finance directors, accountants and management controllers adapt to the new tax framework.
The aim of the sessions was to unpack the legislative changes and assess their implications for companies’ tax management. The participation of officials from the Directorate General of Taxes strengthened ties between the private sector and the administration, fostering an exchange of experience that benefits taxpayers.
Although complex, these changes offer opportunities to optimise tax strategies and strengthen competitiveness. A thorough understanding of the new provisions is therefore essential to anticipate their impact and seize the advantages they may bring.
